The Real Story is a project that I created to give myself a journalistic outlet. I wanted to improve my research skills, script writing, interviewing, editing, and animation. As it grows, my dream would be to be able to use it to bolster any work I may do professionally with another organisation, not only through the skills that I have learnt but also by being able to redirect traffic and views.
INSIDE UKRAINE: TWO YEARS ON
I travelled to Ukraine at the start of 2024 to understand what life was like for the Ukrainian people after two years of war.

I gained access to residents of a building which had just been hit by a Russian missile, spoke to soldiers, military experts, and civilians scared in a bomb shelter before travelling to Rivne to accompany a family of refugees separated by the conflict.

This piece has been seen over 18,000 times and has been seen all around the world including from within Russia. It has been submitted for an NCTJ excellence award.

AI GIRLFRIENDS: AN INVESTIGATION
I conducted a semi-anonymous interview with a man behind an AI girlfriend chatbot platform. Many of the users of the platform are lonely, but can AI girlfriends really be the manosphere's answer to loneliness if it is inherently problematic for women?

INSIDE London's illEgal 420
In this documentary, we went to Hyde Park for 420 to film at what could be the UK's biggest gathering of people doing illegal drugs. We spoke to cannabis users and activists who thought it was a plant "just like cucumbers and tomatoes" as well as the police who refrained from arresting law-breaking civilians because there were simply too many of them.

INSIDE South-East London's pro-palestinian movement
I talk to a Jewish man who is in full support of the pro-palestinian protests which are spreading in reaction to events in the Middle-East. We discuss anti-semitism after police arrested a teenage girl at a march in Lewisham on the 18th of November and then provided us with inaccurate information about the event.
This video covers this arrest as well as well as the march, anti-semitism, and fundraising efforts for Medical Aid for Palestinians.

(Forgive me for the camera work on this one, I was just getting started.)
